S2.1. Paratunka Hot Springs
The availability of natural hot baths that one can take all the year round recoups the severe climate of Kamchatka. The first Russian migrants knew well the healing power of Kamchatka’s springs. They acquired this experience on their own as the natives – the Itelmens – escaped the springs assuming evil spirits inhabited them. The visit to the spring for healing was of a ritual character: people prepared for it beforehand freeing their minds of any routines.

S2.4. Radon Hot Springs “Zelenovsky Lakes”
Zelenovsky Lakes Hot springs are situated in 20 km from Elizovo city. There is one big tub and 5 special baths filled with Radon thermal hot water. Radon Hot springs are good for health, improves metabolism and strengthen immunity. The temperature of hot water differs from bath-tub to bath-tub – in the first one it is the coolest, and in the last one – the hottest. Warmed in the hot spring water one can dip into cold lake that is formed by cold underground springs. The lake is situated right behind the bath-tubs and wide wooden stares with rails lead there.

S2.2.-2.3. Open-air Museum Itelmen Village “Pimchakh”
The word "Itelmen" means "living here"; at one point, the Itelmens inhabited nearly all territory Kamchatka Peninsula living on riverbanks in small settlements. While fishing and hunting is the mainstay of their occupation and economy, the Itelmens are experts with herbs, collecting and drying them for use in making everything from beverages to medicines. Since the Russian Cossacks arrived in the 17th century, the life of these natives took a new turn, and today they reside in common Russian cities and villages.

S2.5. Trekking to Blue Lakes
The Blue Lakes is the Natural Park territory. It is several lakes situated at the height of 600 meters over sea level in 16 km from Elizovo. The lakes obtained their name due to unique natural phenomena: the crystal water and ice on the lake’s bottom reflect the sunlight in such a way that the color of the water becomes beautiful turquoise.

S2.6. An Exotic Picnic at Alexander's Farm
There is a very special farm situated outside Petropavlovsk, in the vicinity of Paratunka.
The farmer is a unique and interesting person. He has some goats, goes hunting and fishing, collects different kinds of herbs and cooks different kinds of dishes on his own recipes, preserving them for winter. He is also a professional musician and composer, writing both lyrics and music. This fascinating farmer invites you to experience the beauty of his special world.
