The Tolmachevo is one if the unique lakes of Kamchatka situated in 180 km from Petropavlovsk. It was formed as a result of rocks-slide into the river where a dam was formed, that caused fast flow-up of a water and formation of a landslide-dammed lake. Later this dammed lake turned into the real big lake.
